Once a student has been identified to transition back to the traditional education setting, the TAQ team will begin implementing a 15 day transition plan. The transition plan will operate as follows:
- 1st week - full day transition (½ day TAQ, ½ day Educere room)
- 2nd week - full day transition (½ day TAQ, ½ day home school)
- 3rd week - full day transition to home school
Prior to returning to the traditional education setting, the TAQ Team will:
- Set final transition meeting with building Principal, Counselor and student to address transition plan and return to the traditional campus.
- Assistant Principal and Counselor will set a meeting with the school based teachers prior to transition beginning.
- Communicate with the school based teachers to determine current classroom lessons.
- Begin using lessons and content being taught in the general setting, if applicable.
